Charles Young on MSF 4.0 and Microsoft Team Services
My thanks to Rob Caron for blogging about this article.

Charles Young has posted an article on his blog about MSF 4.0 and Microsoft Team Services. This article gives a really good overview of what the Microsoft Solution Framework (MSF) really is, and how it relates to the two methodologies that ship with Visual Studio Team System (MSF Agile and MSF CMMI). He gives a detailed overview of both MSF Agile and MSF CMMI, relating them back to MSF 3.0, explaining what has changed in the new version of MSF, and how it maps to these two new methodologies.

He also points out that MSF Agile and MSF CMMI are not mutually exclusive, and gives you some good questions to ask yourself about adopting a new methodology. As well, he mentions some of the different methodology templates that are coming down the pipe from other companies, for use with Team System.

Overall, this article is an excellent read, and worth looking at if you are interested in MSF 4.0 and process methodology templates in Team System.
