Question For You: The Difference Between a Project and a Team Project

I understand (in my head) the difference between and Visual Studio Project and Team Project in Team System.  But, as usual, I have a hard time getting that out of my head verbally without a whole lot of rambling.  However, since I'm possibly presenting to my user group in a month or so, this is one of those things I would like to just "roll off my tongue", so to speak.

So I ask you, my readers, how would you define the difference in just a couple of sentences?

**UPDATE**

or, I could just turn to Google!  Enter in "team system define a team project" and the first thing you get back is an entry at MSDN2 which goes into depth about Team Projects.  Duh!

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms181234.aspx

I'm still interested in what you have to say though, if you would like to pass it along!
