Teamprise 3.0 has shipped
Teamprise offers a suite of client applications for accessing Team Foundation Server from outside the Visual Studio IDE. Specifically, it allows you to make use of Team Foundation Server from within the Eclipse IDE and from Macintosh and Unix systems.
Martin Woodward, a Team System MVP and co-host of Radio TFS, is a primary developer on Teamprise, and has just announced that Teamprise 3.0 has shipped:
At EclipseCon 2008 this morning, we just announced that Teamprise 3.0 has been released! If you've been wondering why I have been quiet on the blog lately - but also why anything I have been talking about is Team Foundation Build related, then you are about to find out why :-)
Some of the features that Martin mentions are now available include:
- Full Team Build integration
- Check-in policy support
- Single sign-on
- and much more (See Release Notes)
They have also changed the licensing to make Teamprise more affordable for small teams.
Teamprise really is a great product, and if you have not considered using Team Foundation Server because you are developing in a non-windows environment, this just might push you over the edge to consider it. Go check it out!
