Don't Leave the Blogosphere, Rob Caron!
Rob Caron is the guy who got me started on both blogging and Team System. Tonight he posted about his 4-Year Blog Anniversary:
When this blog had its highest throughput, I was working the Team System beat nearly full time while also doing my day job. Since then, my role at Microsoft has changed a couple of times and I find myself further from the Team System Fountain of Truth. I had hoped that my new roles would lead me to more opportunities to cover Visual Studio to the same level I covered Team System, but that's too broad for me and Soma hits all the highlights.
Rob, I personally don't think you should stop posting. Regardless of the topic you are posting on, whether Team System related or not, you always have something interesting to say and a good viewpoint on a topic. Some people's blogs stay in my reader even if they are infrequent posters, because when they do say something, I want to listen. And I assure you people are listening. So don't shut the blog down completely. Just post when you feel like it, when you have time, and when you have something to say. I assure you, people will come.
But I'm still miffed you won't be at Tech Ed. :(
