Tech Ed Daze: T - 3 Days Till My Presentation - Part 1
Woke up at 6 AM this morning, and couldn't go back to sleep. I'm supposed to meet with my speaker coach this morning at 9 AM. This is a nice service that Microsoft provides to speakers. He is a professional speaking coach who is hopefully going to give me some good tips, and slow my heart rate down a little bit. Also on the agenda today is Speaker Orientation this afternoon, and then a Speaker Dinner this evening. In between all that I'll probably run through my presentation at least two more times (at least that is the plan).
Since I'm speaking this year, my schedule is not as tightly tied to the TLC as it has been in the past, so I'll have some time to attend some sessions. I was trying to plan out what I wanted to see, but the tool went belly-up this morning. Probably because everyone else is trying to do the same thing.
I did run through my presentation twice last night. All the demos worked, but of course they will when no one is around, :D. I made a couple of tweaks that I'll need to practice more today.
I'm headed over to the CC to register. I want to see what the crowd is like, and make sure I've got my badge so I can get to my speaker coach meeting. As usual, if you want to catch up with me, send me an email or a message via Facebook. Once I know my schedule better, I'll post it up here.
