Visual Studio Team Edition for Database developers (DBPro) now bundled with the Developer edition

... well, starting tomorrow (Oct/1/2008) actually. So those people who own the Developer edition of Visual Studio will be licensed for the DBPro edition as well. This is great news because up until today you had to invest a lot more money in Visual Studio licensing just to get such essential development tool. I hope everybody starts taking advantage of this right away, several of the clients that I have worked with and did not have a license for it wish they did after they saw what they could do with it.

For a quick DBPro overview video go here: http://teamsystemrocks.com/files/10/vsts/entry1459.aspx. It was recorded using the 2005 version of DBPro but it will give you a great insight of the possibilities if you have not seen DBPro before. This video is about 1-hour long and it really is a quick overview.
