Chinese divers Chen Yiwen/Chang Yani win women'8k8 registers synchronized 3m springboard

PARIS - China's Chen Yiwen and Chang Yani won the women's synchronized 3m springboard event here on Saturday, grabbing the first gold for the diving dream team at the Paris Olympic Games.

Chen and Chang, having paired up to win this event at last three World Championships, scored a total of 337.68 points in the final to take China's second gold at the Paris Games.

It's the sixth consecutive Olympic gold medal in this event for China since the 2004 Athens Games.
